Privacy Policy

What we collect

LinkedIn Commenter AI does not collect, store, or sell any personal data. The only data transmitted is the text (and optionally an image URL) of the LinkedIn post you choose to comment on. This is sent to our API solely to generate a comment and is discarded immediately after.

Permissions used

• activeTab — Required to read the content of the currently active LinkedIn tab so we can extract the post text and inject the generated comment into the comment box.
• storage — Used to store your usage count, Pro license key, and monthly reset date locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers.
• host_permissions (linkedin.com) — Required to run the content script on LinkedIn pages so the AI Comment button can appear in your feed.

Remote code

The extension calls our API at linked-in-commenter-ai.vercel.app to generate comments using Claude AI (Anthropic). No user-identifiable data is sent — only the post text and an optional image URL.
